Have questions? We have answers.

What is the service charge?

There is a 20% service charge included on each reservation. This service charge gets split amongst the guides working that day. If you feel your guides exceeding expectations, you are welcome to tip additionally.

Where do we meet?

Our tours depart from the Adventure Center located at 1501 W Colorado Ave. There is a parking lot behind the Adventure Center and street parking available for all guests.

What do we bring/wear?

We recommend that you bring cool weather clothing (including warm gloves) as well as shorts, T-shirts, sunglasses, sunscreen and fully enclosed shoes or boots. Closed toed shoes are required for all tours. The weather patterns on most tour routes can vary in temperature as much as 30 degrees from the top to the bottom. The Bike Pikes Peak tour is usually cold and windy at the summit, and the temperature will increase as we make our way down the mountain.

For our Saddle up-Pedal Down tour please arrive in jeans or whatever you’d like to ride horseback in. Feel free to bring a change of clothes for your bike ride as there will be a place to change at the Stables prior to your bike ride! You can leave your horseback clothes in the van and collect them when you meet the van at the end of the ride.

Our Garden of the Gods Tour does not have any significant altitude gain, so the weather for Colorado Springs is helpful for deciding what to wear if you check it beforehand.

Regardless of tour, layers are always a good idea!

We accept reservations all year round, so book now!

What are the restrictions for tours?

Pikes Peak Tours: All participants must weigh at least 90 lbs and be 5’1” or taller. The wind can be quite strong on Pikes Peak! Smaller riders risk being blown over.

Ebike Tours: Our ebikes are rated for guests 90-250 pounds and a minimum height of 5’1”.

All other tours: All of our participants should be comfortable riding a 2-wheel bike. For more specific questions, please give us a call.

What is your cancellation policy?

For our Pikes Peak and Saddle-Up Bike Down trips, we have a 72 hour cancellation policy with a 100% cancellation or no-show fee.

Our other tours have a 48 hour cancellation policy with a 100% cancellation or no-show fee.

For business or large groups, please contact us directly.

What about bad weather?

Sunshine mornings are common here in Colorado Springs! This means, even if it looks like there is rain being forecasted on your tour day, odds are good that is referring to a light afternoon shower (our “monsoons”).

The decision to cancel a tour comes only after careful consideration of local weather conditions. Lightning strikes or unsafe/closed roads and trails due to heavy rainfall or snow are our most common reasons for a tour cancellation. Generally, tour cancellations are rare.

Please come dressed appropriately for the weather that day!

Do you offer helmet cameras to rent?

Yes we do! You have the option to rent a GoPro Camera from us that you can either mount to your helmet, bike, or chest! This incredible option provides you with the opportunity to take your adventure home and share with everyone. Please contact us for pricing.

How long is your season?

We offer some tours year round!

Pikes Peak is seasonal as the mountain does close with snow, but often we have Gold Camp Tours most of the year, and ALL year we have Garden of the Gods tours!
