Our Bike Gold Camp Mountain Biking Tour package offers an opportunity to combine the wilderness experience with a tour of a 1800s locomotive railway in Colorado Springs. This historic gold mining railway line takes you through the North Cheyenne Cañon Park area. Cutting through the rugged terrain of the trail, you will get to enjoy magnificent views of the area and even bike through old tunnels.
This bike tour begins at the Pikes Peak Adventure Center. We will be transported to the beginning of Gold Camp Road via the dirt, mountain Old Stage Road. This historic road used to be the main thoroughfare between Colorado Springs and the mining town of Cripple Creek. After some gorgeous views, we will arrive at the beginning of Gold Camp Road.
The gravel path, that was previously the railway track, is well suited for most riders. It meanders around the canyon, taking riders through stunning wild terrain. There are many spots you can stop to enjoy magnificent views of the Colorado Springs landscape and take a breather.
