A Horseback & Mountain Bike Tour – Enjoy Double the Fun On a Single Trip!

Searching for things to do on Gold Camp Road? We have partnered with Old Stage Riding Stables to bring you a tour that offers double the pleasure all in one trip. Dubbed the Saddle Up-Pedal Down package, it features two stages. The Tour starts off on Horseback and then you ride down Gold Camp Road on a Mountain Bike.

We begin the journey by meeting at the Pikes Peak Adventure Center 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. We will drive you up to the Old Stage Riding Stables where you will get kitted out for an hour-long guided horseback tour that will take you through the beautiful mountainside scenery.

Then, you will be transported to the entrance of Gold Camp Road. Here you get to trade in your horse for a mountain bike and enjoy our world famous gold camp road route that brings you even closer to nature as you now traverse our amazing mountains.

This package is a great way to take in more of the natural beauty that one of the most picturesque 14ers of Colorado has to offer.

PLEASE NOTE

There is a weight limit of 220 lbs. for riding the horses.
The descent the same as the Gold Camp Tour, not on the road with the Pikes Peak Bike Tour.

You will meet us at the Pikes Peak Adventure center 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. From there, we will drive you up to the Old Stage Riding Stables to take in the crisp mountain air and beautiful scenery as you ride along on your hour long guided horseback tour.

When you finish, our guide will take you just a couple more miles up the road to the drop off point for our “Bike Gold Camp” tour. This unique opportunity is a great way to squeeze in a couple of the most popular attractions in Colorado Springs all in one day. Don’t miss it!

The horse stables have a weight limit of 220lbs for their horses.

This tour is not on Pikes Peak– the biking portion is the same as the Gold Camp Tour.
