My family had Austin and Luke as our guides; they were amazing and quite knowledgeable about the area! When going up the mountain, they were sharing with us the history of the area and things that are currently going on as well. While going down the mountain on the bikes, they did a great job separating us from the traffic on the mountain to ensure our safety. I would highly recommend this biking company to anyone that visits Colorado!

This was a great experience. I was hesitant because I thought it would be too extreme or “scary” but it was safe, fun and exhilarating. The bikes were good quality (Cannondale and Treks) and well maintained. The guides laid out the safety and ground rules and stopped enough times for photos and catching your breath from the high altitude. The van followed us and blocked traffic. We were also able to conveniently drop extra clothing in the van as it got warmer along the drive down. Overall the guides were informative and helped us all relax, especially at the start. We only ride road bikes but had no trouble adjusting to the mountain bikes. Highly recommend it if you’re a bike rider.

The guides took extra care to keep us safe while making the trip fun. We took regular breaks on the trip down and took our time on the hills (there were only a few). The bikes actually did most of the work. Lots of photo opps that you wouldn’t get on your own. Highly recommend Pikes Peak Bike Tours!
